Marc, from Los Angeles, Calif, is a recent graduate of Dartmouth College. In her free time, she loves to hike or ride her bike. In May 2023, Abby received bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from the University of Kansas. Fun fact: Rebekah recently started sewing and making her own clothing.Ībby has covered local government, the environment, and public policy for the Eudora Times, the Kansas City Beacon, and her college newspaper, the University Daily Kansan. Rebekah has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University. Previously, she worked as a Washington correspondent for The Dallas Morning News and was a graduate student investigative researcher for The Washington Post. Rebekah, an alum of the Politico Journalism Institute, recently graduated with a master's in journalism from American University. Fun fact: Hajah’s favorite show to binge-watch is Scandal. Her previous internships include stints at Meet the Press, MSNBC, and the CNN news associate program. Hajah, from Woodbridge, Va., has a bachelor’s in communication from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and a master's in journalism from USC. His guilty pleasure is watching political dramas. He previously interned at NBC News and the New York Post. Irie, originally from the Western Slope of Colorado, is a rising senior at Columbia University, where he is the editor-in-chief of the Columbia Daily Spectator. Fun fact: Sejal grew up playing travel softball and volunteered as a little league coach in high school. She is very excited to report on politics and policy in her home state, explore Sacramento and be near family this summer. ![]() Currently, Sejal is an investigative reporter for GW’s student newspaper, The GW Hatchet. She previously interned with NBC’s Capitol Hill team, as well as with CNN and ABC. Sejal is from San Ramon, Calif., and is a rising senior at The George Washington University. Fun fact: Jasper got his start in journalism at age 9 when he began co-hosting a local radio show about the Boston Red Sox. Jasper is a former managing editor of the Harvard Crimson and previously interned for the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, VTDigger, and The Hill. Jasper, from Waterbury Center, Vt., is a recent graduate of Harvard University. this summer, and is on the hunt for any coffee shop, bookstore, and bike trail recommendations! She loves visiting museums, reading fiction, and taking long walks. She also recently served as the editor-in-chief of her campus newspaper, the Yale Daily News, where she has previously covered student life and student policy. She spent last summer as an intern on the Sacramento Bee's breaking news team. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Lucy is now a rising senior at Yale University, where she studies English literature and is a scholar in the Yale Journalism Initiative.
